Poster sessionCall for PostersThe programme committee invites submissions for poster presentations at the ESS Bilbao Workshop. The poster track is intended as a forum which provides an opportunity for the authors to present original results and interesting and promising research work, and to promote interaction. Technical posters, reports on projects, descriptions of work in progress are all welcome. ESS-Bilbao Consortium has submitted a proposal to NMI3 for Financial Support in the frame of its activity related to Education and Training. As you all know the NMI3 Networking Activities has the mission of enhancing the efficient use of Neutron and Muon facilities by European scientists, being schools and workshops the main instruments implemented to achieve this goal. If the proposal is approved, NMI3 would contribute to the finance of the Workshop and on the basis of the NMI3 support, the first 20 participants of the poster session (held on Monday, 16th March) would be granted. To apply it is necessary to fulfill two conditions:
As organizer of the Workshop, ESS-Bilbao Consortium will be in charge of the justification of spending and the next redistribution of funds. The sum received by each participant of the poster session could be granted till 500€! SubmissionsSubmissions must include a description or abstract that will clearly describe the purpose and structure of the information to be displayed. Papers must be submitted according to the following template. » Download here Submitted papers must not exceed 2 DIN A4 pages and must include authors' names, affiliations and email address of the corresponding author. Submission Address and QueriesThe submission emails must be clearly marked by words ESS BILBAO WORKSHOP POSTER SUBMISSION in subject. The poster papers must be sent by email to the address given below. Any queries regarding the poster session and submissions may be sent by email to the poster session coordinator: Mr. Josu Eguia (jeguia@essbilbao.com) Instructions for Poster SessionsThe ESS Bilbao Workshop Poster Session will be held on Monday, 16th March, from 17:30 to 19:00. Posters should be fixed on the poster Board during lunch break (the surface is 2 m high by 1 m wide). Although the size of the poster is free, it is suggested to be one of DIN A0 size (841 x 1188 mm). At least one author of the poster is expected to stand by the poster during the Poster Session to present it to other delegates. Important Dates* Submission deadline: 20th February, 2009 |
